Remington College - Cleveland Campus offers the following Associate Degree Programs: Computer and Network Administration, Criminal Justice,and Physical Therapist Assistant as well as the following Diploma Programs: Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting, Medical Assisting with X-Ray Tech (Limited Scope) and EKG, Medical Billing and Coding and Pharmacy Technician.

About our Cleveland, Ohio College

The Remington College - Cleveland West Campus, located in North Olmsted, has been helping people pursue their career training goals since October 2003.

Since our opening, our college in North Olmsted, Ohio has developed and maintained a culture that supports student success, evidenced in part by our longevity in the Cleveland area and our diverse college degree and diploma offerings. We take our higher education responsibilities seriously and want to make each part of our Cleveland college environment a welcoming place.

Our experienced faculty can help mentor students; and our career-relevant education programs and hands-on career training can help prepare graduating students for entry-level jobs in a variety of exciting career fields.⁽¹⁾

Associate's Degree:

• Computer and Network Administratior Training

  The Computer and Network Administration Associate Degree Program provides students the hands-on training needed to install, configure, maintain, and support local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Internet systems, and wireless configurations that use a diverse number of network operating systems. Students also have the opportunity to earn up to five Microsoft certifications during the program, thereby potentially improving their marketability.⁽¹⁾

• Criminal Justice Degree

  The Criminal Justice Associate's Degree Program helps students gain a real-world understanding of criminal behavior and the criminal justice system and includes courses in constitutional law, criminology, and forensic science. Additional certifications may be needed after graduation, but Criminal Justice degree program graduates may be prepared for jobs in law enforcement, corrections, private investigation, loss prevention, and security.⁽¹⁾

• Physical Therapist Assistant Degree

  The Physical Therapist Assistant Associate Degree Program uses a mix of classroom study, hands-on labs, and planned clinical education experiences to develop student skills in key physical therapy interventions. Graduates may be prepared to take the state board licensure exam and begin a rewarding career in such places as hospitals, outpatient clinics, and sports training facilities.⁽¹⁾

Cleveland Diploma Programs:

• Cleveland Dental Assistant Program

  The Dental Assisting Diploma Program offers a curriculum designed to prepare students for a real-world externship and ultimately an entry-level position as a dental assistant in a private office or clinic.⁽¹⁾ The coursework includes oral anatomy, radiology, and dental science fundamentals, which can be completed in a little as 8 months.

• Medical Assistant Training Program

  The Medical Assistant Diploma Program provides students office management and patient care training in demand by healthcare providers from instructors who are skilled health care professionals. Students can complete their degree in as little as 8 months before embarking on a career with health care professionals, including chiropractors, pediatricians, and general practitioners.⁽¹⁾

• Medical Assistant X-Ray Technician Training

  Our West Cleveland Medical Assisting with X-Ray Tech (Limited Scope) and EKG diploma program was designed to help prepare students with an education in two key areas of the health care industry: X-Ray tech and EKG tech training.

• Medical Billing Training Program

  The Medical Billing and Coding Diploma Program teaches students in as few as 9 months the industry-standard medical coding systems and rules, while covering medical billing systems, fundamentals of anatomy and physiology, HIPAA regulations, and medical terminology. Graduates may be well-positioned to qualify for entry-level job opportunities as insurance coders or medical coders in private physicians'offices, clinics, hospital clerical departments, and other medical facilities.⁽¹⁾

• Pharmacy Technician

  The Pharmacy Technician Diploma Program combines coursework and real hands-on job training with pharmacists to prepare students for required certification exams and entry-level pharmacy technician jobs. Students will study such topics as medical abbreviations, prescription writing and interpretation, drug forms and routes of administration, sterile product mixtures and compounding, as well as aspects of developing relationships between the pharmacist and the pharmacy technician.

Our Cleveland college campus provides both degree and diploma programs, some of which can be completed in as few as 8 months, with some day and evening sessions available in select programs.

Our Commitment to Our Higher Education Students

Our commitment to our students continues outside of the classrooms with our Career Services. The career services office was designed to help our college students find and apply for jobs, assist with resume writing, prepare for job interviews and connect with potential Cleveland employers. ⁽¹⁾

Actively Involved in the Student's Community

Our Cleveland College is also actively involved in several community efforts, including the North Olmsted City Schools Senior Business Internship Program, through which we hire three students each year.

Our students regularly volunteer to serve and entertain children at the Cleveland Ronald McDonald House. We also host frequent blood drives and food drives and offer General Equivalency Diploma (GED) practice tests and official exams each week at no charge to the public. We really enjoy all our community projects and invite you to join us!
